Kichaka – Tree Seedling Marketplace

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the Kichaka marketplace platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our platform.

2. About Kichaka

Kichaka is an online marketplace connecting tree nurseries and seedling buyers across Kenya. We facilitate transactions between nursery owners, buyers, and transporters but are not a party to any transaction.

3. User Accounts

You must provide accurate and complete information when registering.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
You must be at least 18 years old to use the platform.
One person may not maintain more than one account.

4. Nursery Owners

Nursery owners must provide accurate information about their nurseries and seedlings. All nurseries are subject to approval before being listed publicly. We reserve the right to suspend or remove nurseries that violate our policies.

5. Payments

Payments are processed through M-Pesa or confirmed manually for bank and cash transfers. All prices are in Kenyan Shillings (KES). Kichaka is not responsible for failed payments due to network issues beyond our control.

6. Transport

Transport services are provided by independent transporters. Kichaka facilitates the matching but is not liable for delays, damages, or losses during transport.

7. Prohibited Activities

Listing counterfeit or misrepresented seedlings.
Manipulating prices or reviews fraudulently.
Using the platform for any unlawful purpose.
Harassing other users or platform staff.

8. Limitation of Liability

Kichaka provides the platform "as is" and makes no warranties regarding the quality of seedlings listed. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the platform.

9. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
